Turned public valuation data into a clearer browsing experience for exploring price differences across the city.
Making zone-level data readable
I built an interactive view of public OMI property quotations for Trieste and its surrounding municipalities. The current product is Atlante Casa Trieste, previously presented here as Valori Immobiliari Trieste. A visitor can choose the semester, municipality, category, and property type, then explore the corresponding zones.
The delivered interface combines a map, a textual zone list, and explanations of the source and method. On 6 September 2026 the default view loaded 21 zones for residential dwellings in semester 2025/2. That is a check of the visible application state, not an independent validation of each quotation.
What the values mean
OMI quotations describe zone-level ranges. They are not listing prices, completed-sale records, or a valuation of a particular property. The project’s useful output is a way to inspect differences across zones and periods; no investment-return or valuation-accuracy result is claimed.
